皆さん、こんにちは。
この冬はとても乾燥しますね。
私は毎日「くちびるが～！！！」と心の中で叫んでいます・・・。

さて。今日は久しぶりにプロフィール写真についてのお話です。
昨年の積み残しもありますが、年が変わってしまいましたものね。
もうすぐ、月も変わってしまうと、写真も変えてしまうので、その前に今月の写真のお話をいたしましょう。

昨年は、半年ほど「色」をテーマに撮影していただいていましたが、それからは季節イベントなどが増える時期になり、そのイベントのテーマに沿った写真を撮っていただくことになりました。
今年は、私がダンスでいつかやりたいと思っていることの一つを、先にお写真で実現していただくことになりました。
そのテーマは・・・「花言葉」！
その月ごとのお花と、その花の花言葉をイメージした写真・・・になっているといいなぁと思います。

今月の花は「椿」でした。
とても華のある新春のお花、というイメージですが、花言葉は意外にも、「控えめな優しさ（愛、美など）」「誇り」といったものだそうです。（西洋では「敬愛」「完全」だそうです。）
物語でも、『椿姫』というオペラがありますが、主役の女性像を見ていると、華があり、芯がありながらも、身を引いて相手の幸せを願うといったような、椿の花言葉にぴったり合うように感じます。
そんなわけで！今回のアウトフィットは、その主役「ヴィオレッタ」を意識しつつ、椿の花の色のイメージで選んでみました。とても華やかになってしまったので、「控えめどこいった・・！」と思っていたのですが、そのあたりは写真家さんのポーズと撮影の角度の賜物で・・！、見事に変身したのでした。

2月のプロフィールのお写真は、月末頃の予定で、撮影していただくことになるかと思います。
また貴重で素敵なお時間をいただけるのが、今からとても楽しみです。
そのお写真のお話も、折を見てこちらでお話しますね。

This winter it's too dry in Japan.
Everyday I shout in my mind "my lip is cracked...!!!" D:

Well, today I will talk about my profile picture after a long interval.
I know I have not finished to explain all of the last year's profile photos, but it's already a new year.
Moreover, it is also going to turn into a new month and I will use a new picture in February. So before I do so, why don't I recall the memory of this month's profile photo.

Last year for about a half year, I asked a photographer to take the photo with a theme of "colors". Thereafter it becomes the event seasons, so the photos had the theme of the event much more.
This year, I asked the photographer to use the theme, which I also want to use in dance someday, in advance.
The theme is... "flower language"!
We decide the month's flower and choose a flower language. I hope the photo shows it well...!

About this month, the flower is "camellia".
My image of camellia is bright and festive, but I was surprised to know the flower language is such as "modest kindness (love, beauty, etc)" and "pride" in Japan. (In Western countries, it is "admiration" and "perfection".
Refering to a story, there is an opera "La Traviata" in which a camellia becomes its symbol. The heroine seems not only gorgeous and straight, but also humble by disappearing and wishing for the hero's happiness, which would perfectly match with the camellia's flower language.
So! I chose the outfit with the image of the heroine "Violetta" and with the camellia's color. That's why it became too lavish to say "modest", but the photographer transformed me into a modest woman by her skills of posing and photo angle...!

We are planning to take a February's photo around at the end of this month.
I'm already looking forward to having a percious and interesting time.
I will share the memory with you here when it's ready :D
